Rebecca M Clarkson

I have been around motorsport all my life, with my dad (Robin CLARKSON - multiple Northern off Road Club (NORC) champion and 1993 Welsh Hill rally champion) who has been competing since 1989 and then set up warrior off road racing in 1991 to design and build bespoke off road race cars for customers across England.

I was very lucky that my grand parents had a farm which enabled me start riding quads from the age of 4 & driving scrap cars round the fields from the age 7.

2010 I started co-driving at the age of 16 for my dad and different people in NORC, British Cross Country Championship and British Hill Rallies.

2015 when the racing season had finished for the winter, I decided I wanted to have a go at trials biking, I did a couple of events but never won anything and we came to a family agreement that I was safer on 4 wheels than 2 wheels.

2016 I starting co-driving in the French Rallye tout terrain Championship

2017 I jokingly told my dad I wanted to give it ago in the drivers seat which then I ended up entering his warrior rivet at the last round of the NORC championship and I finished an amazing 8th O/A and 1st in class. The Warrior Rivet is built on a bespoke space frame running a 320bhp Nissan 350z engine with Jenvy throttle bodies, a 6 speed 4WD sequential gearbox, Nissan Sky Line limited slip diffs and bespoke Proflex Shockers with EiBach springs.

2018 I liked being in the drivers seat to much, my dad bought me a 2016 spec Polaris RZR 1000 Turbo to compete in the NORC Championship.

2019 I raced my dads Warrior Rivet in the NORC Championship
